IAS

International Accounting Standards. IASs were issued by the old International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC), which has now been replaced by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The IASB issues IFRSs. Both IASs and IFRSs have been compulsory for European listed companies since 2005.
